Posted on: November 12th, 2011 by Alex Powelson No Comments

I apologize for not updating this in a long time! There is a lot going on in Provo music right now, so I should be back to posting updates more regularly after this. First off, our battle of the bands starts next week:

Have you heard Chance Lewis’s big announcement yet?

There are a few local bands with Kickstarters that are all worth checking out:

Baby Ghosts – they covered The Sonics at one of our Halloween shows and it was AWESOME! They also dressed up as characters from the movie Ponyo. I will post pictures ASAP.

The Archer’s Apple:

The Rooftop Concert Series (already fully funded, but it is still active for almost another month!)

Allred:

In other news, The Moth & The Flame played a sold-out album release show on 11.11.11, and they have another one scheduled for 11.14.11. Congrats guys – and the album is great. SLUG’s podcast, Soundwaves from the Underground, previewed some of the album in Episode 18. Check it out!
