Songwriters Showdown

Come see these songwriters compete for the grand prize on Feb. 9, 10, 11!

Winners advance to the FINALS on the 11th!

Here’s how it will work: Songwriters will play a round (all of that night’s songwriters play one song each). The judges will break and decide which song was the weakest. Songs will be scored on lyrics, melody, chords, and song structure. We will repeat rounds until there are only two finalists.

It’s a 3 night event. The first 2 nights are elimination rounds. On the final night (Saturday) the top 4 songwriters (top 2 from the 9th and top 2 from the 10th) will play 30 minute sets. Their playing order will be determined by how many fans they brought on their first night. Winners will be determined by judges and an audience vote.

Only harmonizing instruments allowed (for example: guitar, piano, ukulele). No percussion.

*The winner wins $150 and 1 song recorded in our studio.
*Second place gets $75 and 2 hours of recording/mixing time.
